Great Job Replacing Failed Siding
KVN was great to work with. My cedar accent siding on my nearly new home has failed, so rather than just replacing it I opted to have that corner of my house re-sided using long-lasting Hardiboard. KVN went the extra mile to not just match my home (which has various widths of Hardiboard at different locations to create a pattern, but to carefully chose the boards that would look the best in that location. They also added extra flashing to prot ft the outdoor shade canister and then reinstalled it. Everything was done well and quickly.
Siding & painting
I was impressed from the very start with the excellent presentation of services available without any high pressure salesmansbip. Included with the process was one hour with a professional color consultant who walked us through the task of choosing colors and gave us design advice. The siding crew from Silva Construction exceeded our expectations. They were obviously experienced and we are very pleased with the result. Removal of the old siding revealed black mold which they effectively replaced with new plywood before continuing the job. After the project was completed, the crew cleaned up nicely. The painting crew from Happy Valley Painting did a careful job of preparation before applying two coats of the paint we had chosen. We are delighted with the way our home look. We highly recommend KVN Construction, Silva Construction and Happy Valley Painting.
Roofing & Gutters
From my first contact with KVN Construction, we were told of all of their services, but not pressured to take any option. We looked at Roofing, Gutters, Siding, and Windows. After they gave us our options (which even included a Veteran's discount), we opted for Roofing and Gutters as fitting our budget and time constraints. The Roofing required removing a 12 year old roof and a 30 year old roof under that. When the shingles that we picked out were not available at that time in the color we chose, we were given our chosen color in the next higher quality level at no extra cost. KVN gave us clear options, a good price and time-line, excellent service, and great communication throughout the whole project. If I ever again want any of the products KVN provides and I live in their service area, I will definitely seek them out. Thank you KVN!

Every team member from the get go to the end was extremely polite and accommodating. We really appreciate the great attitude from the entire group. STAYBRIDGE SUITES 50,000 SQFT. SIDING
As a James Hardie Rep. I must only report on deviations and relay our best practices when installing our products. So this letter of recommendation is rare in the 4 years I have worked for Hardie. During my site visits I was shown all the work it took to furr out of plumb walls and mismatched floor levels. This from my experience as a contractor is labor intensive and only performed by the most conscious contractors due to re-framing not being in the siding contractors scope of work typically. The siding installation was above industry standard and one of the better looking installs considering framing issues. KVN has spent a considerable amount of effort to consult with JHBP on proper installation of our products and produce the best possible installation under the circumstances. They should be commended on their professional approach and execution.
NEW SIDING, ROOF & PAINTING
KVN Construction did a great job and the prices for re-siding, roofing and painting were reasonable. We begun five bids on the projects and we decided go with KVN Construction, and we were glad we did. The owners of this company, Krill and Oley really impressed us when they came over to estimate on the project. They took time to explain to us about the projects and gave their option on best ways to save money. They even brought siding and roofing samples to show us what theyll be using on the project. Krill and Oley are very friendly and easy to worked with. The KVN Construction crews are very hard workers even when it was around or above 90s degree outside, they were still willing to work long hours and tried to get the jobs done on time. We are exceptionally happy with results and would recommend KVN Construction to everyone.
NEW ROOF & PORCH REPAIR
We had KVN (with Kirill leading) replace our old, multi-layered shingle/shake roof. They quoted 20% or more lower than the other four estimates we obtained. Their prices and efficiency were so impressive we added two change orders, one for them to do more extensive work on the roof and one to replace our front porch support and top boards. The went above and beyond, stopping by after hours to deliver roofing samples, as well as working with us when an emergency took us out of town. Their work is beautiful and they were very professional and prompt. Work began and ended when they said, and they cleaned up the property very well when they were finished. They addressed problems with me directly, such as a surprise squirrel nest. We could not recommend Kirill and his team more.
WINDOWS, SIDING & PAINTING
Professional, prompt, precise and pleasant from start to finish! We cannot be more pleased with the experience and finished results on our home project. We had three bids for windows replacement, siding and painting. KVN Construction was competitive and did the entire project with their team of professionals. We did not have to worry about delays or scheduling they were present every day on time and worked diligently to finish on time (even in the high summer temperatures). At each step of the the project from initial email to the bid to the work to the job clean up, they were a pleasure to work with and have around the house. The house looks terrific and new. ROOF & GUTTERS
The workmanship performed on my roof and gutters is excellent. Communication between the owner and I was also excellent. KVN really listens, quick to make accommodations, and will educate you when walking through the process of getting your first roof done.
